Boa Lacing System

The Boa Culture

Boa Technology has been likened to a cross-pollination of a creative agency, dot-com start-up, and an architectural firm.

Housed in a lofty brick building that was once home to a coffin factory, the office features an open floor plan that fuels a constant free flow of dialogue and ideas -- a layout that strongly encourages a spirit of transparency and cooperation. Employees at all levels, regardless of seniority, are encouraged to contribute and take ownership of initiatives. A culture of science permeates as well, thanks in part to a talented stable of engineers and industrial designers.(Text continues below)

Boa has committed to promoting a culture of health and wellness internally with the belief that it will translate to influence externally. Employees regularly head out for lunchtime runs or commute home by bike. We team up for the Race for the Cure, tackle ultramarathons, embark upon bike tours, summit 14ers, and ski in the backcountry. Our President (pictured below, at the 2009 24 Hours of Moab Mountain Bike race) races mountain bikes and recently repeated as national champion. Boa allocates a health & wellness allowance for each of its employees to cover lift tickets, gym memberships, race entries, or virtually any purchase that encourages health.(Text continues below)

It is this environment of health and wellness that we foster within our company's walls and export to the community. We practice what we preach and preach what we practice, with an eye focused on the greater good. All along, we take buoyant pride in the fact that we build products that help fuel other's endeavors, both grandiose and humble.(Text continues below)
